Validation of Planning Applications

Planning applications are accepted at the public counter, from 10.00am to 4.00pm inclusive of lunch hour, and by post. 

When a planning application is received, if it is incomplete the applicant is informed by letter as to the omissions and the entire application is returned to the applicant as invalid. If an application is deemed invalid, a new application must be submitted if the matter is to progress. 

The Planning Service can provide a vetting advice service to those who will be making a planning application.
