Dog Fouling Awareness Campaign

On Tuesday 21st March 2017 Cork City Council will be launching its Dog Fouling Awareness Campaign in the Concert Hall  in City Hall.  The campaign will  focus on awareness and responsible dog ownership.

The highlight of the day will be the announcement of the winners of the recently held primary school art competition. The Lord Mayor, Councillor Des Cahill, will present one lucky pupil with the overall prize with the winning school receiving a bursary of €500 from our sponsors Maxi Zoo.

The artwork will be on display for the public to view in Blackpool, Merchants Quay, Wilton and Douglas Village shopping centres between March 21st and March 25th with information stands also in place promoting responsible dog ownership and highlighting the health risks associated with dog fouling together with the difficulties experienced by the visually impaired and persons with disabilities.
